7 a.m. Nastia Videva in Magnitogorsk has an exciting day ahead of her. She wants to pass her hairdressing exam today. In Athens, 21-year-old Yorgos is recovering from early morning exercise. He still lives at home, earns some money from odd jobs now and then and dreams of a career as a professional kickboxer. In Utrecht, Ruben (26), his wife Bente (25) and their one-year-old daughter live in a housing project that brings old and young together. The seniors need company, the young affordable housing. Before he leaves for work, he visits 91-year-old Ari Nagel. Born in 1927, he was just 18 years old at the end of World War II. Since then, there has always been an uninterrupted peace in the Netherlands. Not so in Volnovacha in eastern Ukraine, where a war has been going on since 2014. 24-year-old Aleksandr commands a battalion of the Ukrainian army with over 500 soldiers.
