Samantha Banks is on top of the world: a handsome fiancé at her side, her business is successful and the holiday get-together with her family is just around the corner. Things couldn't be going better in her private and professional life, but then Samantha's perfect world is shaken: on Thanksgiving of all days, she meets her ex-boyfriend, a stand-up comedian, again. Samantha's family has arranged the meeting - and old feelings are stirring in her.
